Reflection about the brain

The brain is the most complex computer that we can have. Everything that we do has to come from here or none of the activities, that we deem minimal will occur. The phrase “use it or lose it” refers to the brain because the brain is of such value. The chapter that we have read discusses how the brain is always in constant use. On page 114 of the book it discusses how early experience in development is vital, because these early learning moments will help the brain to grow and also help the students learn as well. In one of the articles I read about making a memory certain factors can help people to remember things. This ties into how these early memories are vital to helping us to recall certain things. Like from chapter 3 of our book memory can help people to recall things learned in class better than they normally would. Furthermore, in people who are deaf, the auditory part of the brain receives help from the other parts to make up for the loss of hearing. In a video “how does the brain change in people who are deaf, we learn how the others parts of the brain help the person to better remember sign language than if that person could hear. So yes the book and articles to agree with how we must always use our brain in what we do or when the need arises we may not succeed in recalling certain information.
